Jacky
Jacky is a native of Lewis County, raised in Centralia and is a current resident of Chehalis. She and her husband Mike own and maintain the Chehalis Friendship Fence located at their house. The bright colored rainbow fence was so dubbed “The Chehalis Friendship Fence” shortly after its creation when Jacky and Mike painted their fence to show support for the Lewis County Welcomes Everyone campaign after their billboard was destroyed by vandals within 24 hours of its placement. People are encouraged to visit the fence, take photos, scan the QR code to create their own heart tag or read one of the hundreds of messages of hope that dangle on shiny hearts that shimmer through the lattice.
Since the creation of the Friendship Fence, Jacky has served as a secretary for a local non-profit organization and worked with the Soroptimists International of Centralia/Chehalis to place 2 lending libraries on her front porch (1 with necessities, 1 with books). As the current treasurer for the LCDG, Jacky hopes to serve members of Lewis County in a meaningful way.
